Ambassadors & Translators

Juliana Alves
Portuguese translator, Ambassador for Portugal, Spain, & the Spanish translation

I am a nurse and my profession has allowed me to accompany women in very difficult situations during their postpartum period. In recent years I have dedicated myself to the fight against obstetric violence.

I'm a Brazilian from Curitiba, who currently lives in Jerez de La Frontera, in southern Spain. And this is where I hope to continue the work of supporting women, providing quality information, and always helping to build networks around women and their perinatally.

Marissa Bolaños

Dr. Francesca La Vecchia
Italian translator, Ambassador in Italy

I am a psychotherapist and mum from Italy. For my first pregnancy, I was totally unprepared. The birth and postpartum time were so hard that they left a deep, invisible scar under my skin. I wanted my next pregnancy to be different.

Finding the Build Your Nest workbook helped to make my second birth calmer and my postpartum time so nourishing. I wanted to offer as many women as possible the same opportunity and joined the Build Your Nest team.
