Spanning from the end of pregnancy through the fourth trimester, this care is personalized and holistic. It includes postpartum planning, pelvic steaming, text support weekly and as needed, and other offerings as needed.
Postpartum Planning + Navigation
Based on the Build Your Nest workbook, the goal of the postpartum planning consult is to create a postpartum plan which is an outline how to get the rest, support, and needed after birth, and how to face the challenges that arise. Whether this is your first baby or your fifth, it can be so helpful to talk over your vision of those newborn weeks, look at your current life, and discover what resources you have.
A planning consult can be especially helpful to foster understanding and shared vision between parents. It can be useful to have a third person present to explain why the postpartum time is important and why it can be hard, and what can make it easier.
Navigation support is on-going help with connecting with resources. This includes local and virtual services, informational support, and other tools that are helpful to the childbearing time.
Postpartum Pelvic Steaming Plan + Kit
Pelvic steaming is a healing modality that uses steam and herbs to support pelvic health and postpartum recovery. It is deeply relaxing which supports over all postpartum wellness. It can help heal tears, stitches, hemorrhoids, and helps the uterus and other organs return to their pre-pregnancy state. It supports a complete uterine cleanse which can lead to improved pelvic health in the future. A standard steam plan is 30 days.
This care package includes an intake assessment to determine your steam plan and herb blend, as well as on going guidance through the process as needed. It also includes the complete kit -stool, crockpot, teapot, and my homegrown herb blend.
Foot Bath
Use of a beautiful copper foot bath is included and can be used as a relaxation tool anytime during pregnancy or postpartum. It can be paired with a mama blessing or a birth story session.
